Now you probably found yourself in two seasons, or three at the most, for instance either a winter or summer or maybe a spring or autumn. Don’t worry, this is not the only step.

Now you can look at the undertone of your skin. You can look at your face or neck, do you have a blueish or yellowish undertone? Chances are that if you have a blueish undertone you will be either a winter or summer and if yellowish you will be either an autumn or spring.

Go to your wardrobe. Look at the colours that you wear more often because they make you look and feel good and you always get compliments when you are wearing that colour. Normally one likes the prime colour that goes with your season most.

If those colours are cool shades with a blue or grey undertone or warm shades with yellow or golden undertone, then you can determine your season according to that.

Winter and summer are cool seasons, complimented by colours like blues, pinks and reds.

Autumn and spring are warm seasons, complimented by colours like browns, peaches and mustards, although they can wear blues just different shades.

If you are still not sure of your season, you can go to a shop, unless you have a huge variety of lipstick shades, to test some shades. Wear a white shirt and no foundation. Try on the following shades of lipstick. If it compliments you, you will see your whole face light up and you will feel gorgeous in that colour.

Winter = Raspberry, Fuschia or Azalea pink.

Summer = Rose pink, Soft Fushcia or Soft plum.

Autumn = Terracotta, cinnamon or brick red.

Spring = Peach, Apricot or Clear Salmon.

Another test you can do is to go to fabrick shops, or even the clothing stores and pick out different colours from the lists below and hold it in front of you, preferably without make-up, otherwise your make-up will influence the choice if your make-up is wrong. The colours that make you look as if you are lighting up from the inside, are the right ones, you will also see that you look great, your eyes even shines if you got the right colour.

Now, I am sure you found your season and will look your best all the time.

I am adding colour schemes for wardrobes and make-up for you to look at so that you can always look your best and only invest in the colours that suits you best.

If you are still not sure and stuck between two seasons, you will see that some of the colours overlap, they are in more than one season, then you can go for those colours until you are sure.

I sincerely hope that this information was worth your while and that you will shine as who you are.

I just want to remind you that beauty is not on the outside, but on the inside. If you are a happy person, you look beautiful no matter if you got make-up or the right colours on, you just shine from the inside.

And where does happiness come from?

From the inside!! You can decide to be happy or not, it is the best to decide to be happy. If you feel down, you must try your best to think happy thoughts, or if you can’t think of happy songs, pray or worship, it helps relieve stress. Another good thing that is evolving more is yoga, also great for controlling emotions and allot of other things as well.

Ps: after I wrote this, I found a site on the web named colour me beautiful, http://www.colormebeautiful.com/seasons/index.html, where they help you find your season as well as they sell make-up in your specific season, so you can know that you are using the right colours. GREAT STUFF!!!
