Because they are important, helping children with fears is important
Our children, our gifts
I'm certain that you will agree with me when I say that our children are our most important gifts. Without them, life would be boring. But sadly, they did not come with a manual and sometimes we need help in helping them.
Fears in children
There are so many things that they fear, that we don't always understand, but I'm certain when we think back, we might even have had those same fears and either learned to deal with them or started to press them down over the years.
I'm almost certain that the most children are afraid of the dark, but there are probably exceptions. Some are afraid of the closet monster or even something under their beds. (Sound familiar?)
- But then there are the fears that can influence their lives - fear of not getting friends, fear of speaking to friends at school, fear of not passing the exams or even fears about what the future holds.
Although these fears aren't always grounded with sound proof evidence that they have to be there, but still the children struggle with them and sometimes it seems as if these fears will never go away.
