What a tough start
We started off our new year on a rough ride. On the 2nd of January, my hubby's work foreman phoned.
He was taken to hospital with a pain in his chest.
I'm not going to share the entire story, but in this - his heart stopped twice during the Sunday night of the 3rd of January. After they resuscitated him the second time, they put him on life-support machines.
He was flown to a hospital in another town, but while waiting for the chopper and getting him ready to be put on the chopper, his heart stopped another 5 times.
This gives you a total of 7 times.
At the hospital, they did an angiogram and put in a stent.
He survived, but naturally after his heart stopped so many times, there was damage to his heart.
Now, he only has 25% heart function left and cannot work anymore.
Update to this post: 14 August 2016 he died.
Why am I telling you this
Because I want you to realize, suddenly, without any warning, things can change that can impact your life drastically.
The main reason for any heart problems is an unhealthy lifestyle.
Not eating healthy, eating too much fat, etc.

Drink lots of water
Other fluids should be included in the 8-10 glasses per day, so if you drink more water than other fluids, it is healthy.
You can add some slices of cucumber and lemon to your water and put it in a jug in the fridge.
Pour yourself a refreshing glass of this water every so now and then, especially before going to bed.
Eat healthy food
Following a healthy diet must become a lifestyle.
If you go on a diet just to go back to your old ways of unhealthy eating you are confusing your body.
Rather decide that you want to live healthy.
